A heavy wind and rain warning has been issued by the weather system from Thursday 14 July this afternoon, through to the morning of Friday 15 July.
Wind over 35 knots can be expected from late afternoon Thursday, with occasional gusts over 40/45 knots during squalls.
The high wind procedure has not yet taken effect and the weather is currently being monitored closely until the alert is lifted. Our Site TMP must be followed with the direction of our staff onsite.
When wind speed reaches an unsafe level of 25 knots, as a precautionary measure, we will close our yard without notice and may re-open for operation once safe to commence.
The safety and well-being of staff, visitors and contractors on-site is our priority.
During the site closure, all trucks will be asked to leave our operation area and visitors/contractors to report to the gatehouse. All incoming trucks will not be processed until clearance has been authorised. Please expect delays.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your co-operation.
