You will no doubt be aware of the latest developments with COVID-19 (coronavirus) in New Zealand.
Nexus Logistics and Conlinxx have a responsibility to protect our staff and make every effort to keep our business running. We want to make sure that we can continue to fulfil that duty.
We also know that your business relies on us being able to continue to operate.
Preventing the spread of disease is our highest priority. We have taken a proactive and cautious approach so far and will continue to do so. We are taking lead from our owner, the Ports of Auckland. We have banned all staff from international business travel, and we are encouraging staff not to take personal travel to high risk countries. Staff returning from these areas are being asked to self-isolate at home. We are also screening all visitors to our inland port and operations premises.
We're taking as many proactive measures as we can, and it would be great if you could help in the fight against COVID-19.
Please can you ensure that:
- Any of your staff who have visited a high-risk area in the last 14 days, please do not come to our premises – the Nexus offices or the South Auckland Freight Hub. High-risk areas are: China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand
- Any of your staff who feel unwell with cold or flu-like symptoms (such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath) should also not come to our premises
With your help we can limit the spread of the virus and keep our businesses moving!
