Chief Executive Officer

Darcy joined the Nexus team in December 2020 as GM of Sales & Marketing, and was later appointed CEO of Nexus and Conlinxx. He has more than 25 years' experience in transport and logistics and has worked in various senior and executive roles within the industry, including roles within Tapper Transport and Coda Group; he was GM Business Development, GM NZ Operations and Interim CEO at the latter. He was a Director of Metrobox from 2019-2020. Darcy thrives on customer engagement, ensuring that the waste within the supply chain is eliminated by creating new solutions and thinking out side the normal logistics model. Outside of the logistics industry, he is a senior station officer at the Pukekohe Fire Station, and enjoys family time and fishing in Auckland Gulf Harbour.

With the responsibility of ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the entire Nexus Logistics and Conlinxx teams, Anton knows no two days are the same in the logistics industry. He also holds responsibility for people and culture within the business. Anton has spent 17 years working in health, safety and management across the construction, FMCG, government and transport industries. Anton holds an MBA (Auckland) and an Advanced Diploma in OHS (Sydney). On a day off you’ll find Anton coaching netball, in the kitchen and supporting the Blues and Warriors.

Lee boasts an impressive 25-year track record in enhancing supply chain management across diverse sectors in New Zealand and the UK. As a seasoned general manager, he prioritises efficiency and safety. With a decade-long focus on the wharf cartage industry, Lee emphasises a customer-centric approach, whilst ensuring the well-being of his team is paramount. Lee is also a proud dad to three boys, shares a family passion for travel and actively supports their hometown football team.

Wayne joined the team in 2024, bringing over 20 years’ experience in senior and executive roles. Throughout his career, he has operated across a diverse array of sectors, including FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Property, and Aviation. He is solutions-orientated and thrives on driving efficiency and optimisation strategies. Outside of the office, Wayne enjoys spending time at home with his wife and kids. With a family who love football, he’s often found on the sideline supporting his kids.

Ben leads the business development and 4PL teams, with a focus on building strong relationships within the industry and delivering the best possible service to our customers. He thrives on the dynamic and fast-paced nature of logistics and brings with him extensive industry experience, including 10 years at Coda and a stint at Hamburg Süd. When Ben is not in the office, he can be found with his kids, mountain biking or out on the water.

McCrae brings over 10 years of expertise in Transport, Supply Chain, and Logistics to the Nexus team. He has an extensive contact network and has played a pivotal role in designing numerous complex logistics solutions within the New Zealand market. He thrives on making the complex seem simple by using both digital and physical solutions to provide top-notch end-to-end supply chain services. Outside the office, McCrae enjoys racing through New Zealand’s forests in his family’s BMW E36 rally car and fine-tuning it to gain that extra speed.

With his out of the box thinking, Oliver is a solutions architect – he’s in the business of finding a way through for our customers. He specialises in new business, focusing on streamlining landside logistics. Previously, Oliver has worked in 4PL and 3PL solutions across transport, crossdocking and warehousing. Outside of the 9 to 5, Oliver enjoys New Zealand’s great outdoors with friends and family.

Hailing from the UK and having spent time working in Southeast Asia, Claire brings a diverse foundation in account management and thrives on building relationships with people from all walks of life. Outside of the logistics world, Claire enjoys exploring the beauty of Aotearoa, and discovering the best pubs the country has to offer with her family and dog.

Adam comes from an operations background, consisting of time at an Inland Port operation, and prior to that, the fresh produce industry. Customer relations and focus are Adam's priorities in his role, and building strong partnerships in the industry are crucial. Adam is a family man and enjoys bike rides, trips to the swimming pool and getting creative at home with his wife and two young kids.
